  • cropping and pushback

    Hey

How do I crop a photo of a plane pulled by a pushback correctly? Can I ignore the pushback and crop through it or should I view it as part of the plane and center it so there is the same amount on the left of the plane and right of the pushback?

Assuming, the pushback is pushing the aircraft in question, I would leave it in the frame as it is part of the photo.

I would add a provision here. Make sure that the pushback truck is not obstructing the view of the aircraft or you risk an obstruction/clutter rejection.
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !

I think this depends on the type of the tug. If it is the one that lifts the aircraft's front gear, I'd never crop it out of photo, no matter what the angle is.

If it is the type with a bar connecting to the aircraft, I crop it out, if I can remove it completely without removing any part of the aircraft. If not, I leave it there as well.
