Well, you're lucky that the bar is on the panorama terrace .

BAR !!......on the panorama terrace ?

      1. I never knew that there was a panorama terrace
at AMS. I'm assuming accessible from landside ?

      2. No bugger told me there was a bar there.

      Blimey...heaven does exist.

Paul....we may well end up with the wobbliest pics ever seen by screeners after the May weekend....except Gerardo's of course.

      Sorry Gerardo....those voices again !
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !

I know the bars up there very well! There's actually two spots to get a beer up there just inside the doors, but I usually get bottles of Heineken to consume while wandering round taking photos. As for wobbly photos, we'd have to try damned hard to out-wobble Gerardo!

Not anymore. I had an on-camera one and it was quite good for moderate haze but for the desert style mirage haze it was useless so I binned it. Weighing in at 2.5 lbs didn't help either, especially when panning shots. I didn't use the PS based version after the camera mounted experience.
I do hear, however that Jessops have a slimmed down redesigned version on the way. Projected release date is 1.04.2010.

I pre-ordered yesterday. Quite a wait list though

Yeah, but definitely worth the wait, cause it is good value for the money, and like Brian says, the old one is far too heavy and quite useless.

The shop I ordered it from is going to open at midnight the day it gets released because apparently demand is so high for it. I'll be there with my sleeping bag and tent ready to get in there first.

James - could I pay you enough to get one for me too? I will be queing at PC World to get my on camera horizon leveller, which is being released at the same time.

Sorry about the non crew gate crashing, couldn't resist.......
                        CheersAziz

I already have a horizon levelling tool, it's called sobering up!

                              I tested the prototype....overrated IMO.

Wrong! The "Sober Up mark II" is against wobbling photos
