  • How is the exposure for this photo?
Have a feeling that the forward section of the aircraft is starting to get overexposed compared to the aft section

    • Apart from the most obvious reason (backlit) due to the nature of the airshow and runway headings, it was difficult to shoot.

Any luck for these 2, as this will set my way to edit the rest.

The one is very special, as it was an Embraer 140 and Embraer 190 in formation. The 190 being brand new to their fleet and showcased for the first time to the public. The photo shows them symmetrically aligned, giving the impression of a 4 engined Bi-plane version from Embraer.

Which one will have more chances to be accepted?

I don't see there being much difference between the two.

thank you so much for the advice.
Only the CX would have a chance (with some minor improvements). It needs some CCW rotation, and I would probably remove the bird, which might get mistaken for dust.

The others have multiple problems, some of which are not fixable (such as heat haze), so I would forget about trying to get those accepted.

Exposure should be ok, but the contrast is a bit low, and it seems soft in spots.

The second one you might be acceptable if you brightened it a bit, and fixed the horizon. The first is a bit trickier; yes a unique angle, but quality issues (backlit/contrast/softness) would probably preclude it.

With a better crop (don't cut the tail) and a bit more contrast, should be ok.

Too dark, but should be fixable.

                            Hi,

No need for a link, as you can attach photos directly to your post, as you can see the others have done.

As for the photo, the horizon is a little off, but the main issue is softness/blur.
