Maybe a touch soft, but quality otherwise looks ok.

        and this one thanks.

All are soft and poor contrast, and dust spots on at least a couple of them.

Couple I am not sure about.
Note to number one. A slight different shot as an earlier post, but with more exposure and more contrast, but I think it's over-edited right now.
        1. dark/contrast/overprocessed
        2. centering (too high)
        3. bit soft, but otherwise ok

First still too soft. Others borderline, but ok for me.

            Noise shouldn't be an issue.

I also correct contrast on these. Any acceptable on JP in your opinion?

Hello, is this night shot of a cockpit ok for upload?
Contrast passable for me on all four, but heat haze still quite obvious on last two.

            Cockpit borderline soft/noisy.

As aways, the same old question: what I can improve in this shot?

              • Thanks once again dlowwa! Two little questions, do you think by raising the exposure on the helicopter shot, the background will become blown out/the image will look backlit? And, is it the whole typhoon that is soft or just some parts? There is a lot of heat haze from the engines on the bottom left of the wing if that is of any issue. Thanks

                  I reworked the photos.

Not much, I'm afraid. 1 & 3 are poorly motivated crops, and the second is backlit and obstructed, besides the poor crop.

I would just boost the shadows a bit and see how it goes.

Jet wash notwithstanding, the right wing and nose are soft, almost blurry.

The DHL is suffering from heat haze, but the others are borderline passable for me now.

The second it's not the best one, but about the winglet and cockpit shots, the problem is just the crops? There is any possibility to use them?

                      • One of my first shots with a small pocket-digi. It is a bit grainy, and a lot of dust caused by recent grass-cuttings.

It is borderline at best, but will the rules for old photos apply to these first-generation digi-pic's? I have a few on file that is not in the DB, and it is primarily these or one or two with a paint-job not in the DB

Rest my case for number one, because it looks rather unnatural right now after removing contrast and a slight lift of the exposure. lowered down number two, but curious if it's not too low right now. Will drop nr.3 with a small amount of extra sharpening.

I did get rid of a decent amount of the vignetting present in the previous version for the first image.
