  • Blurry?

I am not one to complain about rejections, I get so few, but this one
    really stumped me...

    http://www.jetphotos.net/viewreject.php?id=91653

The lighting was difficult, granted, a tricky scenario, yes.

    Quality? Exposure? Blurry? never....

It's pretty soft around the tail, try putting in a little bit of USM and see what comes out.

      It's a difficult c/s SWA733Captain...

No disrespect for the photographer of the above who had the same
problem in similar lighting..perhaps Chris might care to comment?

Just try adding a little bit of USM, and show us what you get.

Is there something special about that a/c? If so appeal it, if not forget it. It is soft, yet so is the other shot.

Scott, USM is not the answer to everything.

What else is there he could do with the picture?

FYI, not saying that to be a wise ass, but for future reference.

If you check you'll find that 152918 was the first picture of this aircraft to be added to the database, there is more flexibility in terms of standards when it comes to new additions to the database, secondly there is also a third image of that aircraft which was recently added and shows a marked improvedment on 152918. The rejected picture is blurry and has issues regarding the contrast, I think it is a fair rejection.

                Here is the other image

                  Scott,
USM is just one tool in the "toolbox". I have a hammer in my toolbox, but I don't hit everything with it. LEARN Photoshop, and you will be much farther ahead of the rest. I don't teach it.

I'll wait for the aircraft coming in on an overcast day, that should cure the contrast problems...thanks to all...
