  • Help with rejection for bad info

Hi all, I uploaded a photo that was rejected for Bad Info and I checked all the dates and it was correct and I appealed but it was rejected again for the wrong year. I find it very strange because all the info was correct but it still got rejected despite of my appeal. Could anyone explain why or perhaps help me with this ? Would be glad if anyone here would help !

This is the link of the photo that was rejected

    Hi there,

You were told twice in both emails so I don't know what you need explaining for? According to your EXIF data the photo was taken in 2014.

In future, upload your photos with the correct date as it should be on your camera as date cheating is strictly not allowed.

    Cheers

      Dear Rapsody,

I think that the rejection was due to wrong Date/Time settings on your camera. I have crosschecked the data on Flightradar 24 history, and indeed, the plane was in SIN on 14/04/2017, BUT the EXIFs of the picture, showed a completely different date. You have to reallize that the time window of every picture screening is relatively small and sometimes we have not enought time to cross-check FR if an inconsistency between EXIFs and upoad date exists.
So I would recommend to correct the Date/Time on your camera to avoid future rejections for the same reason and resubmit the picture.

Hi there Tim, about the EXIF date, I did realise that the actual photo date and the one on the EXIF is contradicting and thus, I changed the EXIF date to the correct one. I was not aware that changing the incorrect EXIF date to the correct one is not allowed. I was loaning a camera and did not realise that the date and time was messed up. I hope that will clear up the misunderstanding of me date cheating. Thank you for the clarification.
