Reject: Dark / Underexposed Too much or too little contrast
Not much, as they were taken in poor light, and appear to be at least technically backlit (the background is brighter than the foreground). I suggest leaving these for now, and trying again when you have some shots taken in better light.
They both are a little bit too dark, if you look at the histogram you can see that spike on the left hand side. It shows that the darks are a bit too much, overall I think you can't really do much considering the lighting in the picture. Not only the fact that in the 1st photo the nose seems to be blurry.
