  • What can I fix this photo (OVER/BAD process)?

    Hello,

    This photo:

Was rejected on: "Over Processed / Bad postprocessing"
How do I know which of them? Over or Bad?
The only process was to crop the image!

There are noticeable halos around the aircraft. I suggest turning off the 'D-lighting' feature of your D500, as this is most likely what is causing the halos. If you have the raw file, you should be able to process it again without causing any halos. If you have only the jpeg, unfortunately there is no way to remove them.

      10X,

The D-lighting is OFF for a long time. Do you have any idea for another source for those halos?

If not D-lighting, then usually from an editing tool like shadow/highlight, clarity, etc...

The halos in your image are pretty strong and certainly not natural, so they are from your processing. I'm sure if you produced a jpeg from the raw file with all settings at 0, there would be no halos.
