Don't think you will ever be able to get it better than borderline. Doesn't mean it's a guaranteed rejection, but unlikely to ever be sure of acceptance.

2. borderline dark. Needs to be bright enough you can actually see something, but the sky shouldn't be blown out. if you can't achieve that balance, then the light simply wasn't good enough

With regards to no.2, I think I've posted a similar-ish shot of a 757 wing at sunset before, and was told that it was too dark. With such shots, should the wing be properly exposed, or is it sufficient in this case due to the sky? Thank you.

Thanks Dana. Would you suggest shifting the black point? When doing a final levels adjustment and pressing the ALT key, I tend to avoid black clipping areas and stick to just the dark blue areas. Thank you!

On the 3rd photo there seems to be a dust spot under the nose of the aircraft.
Other photos are OK for me!
