what is the difference between these two photos?

4X-EDA. Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

Minus the dust spots, all would be acceptable for me.

          • Thank you Dana for your answer. The first was rejected https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=6411554

            But there is even better

            Photo rejected february 20 2018 https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=6386909

I have modified and rejected today https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=6413011

I am tired of these very subjective decisions

To understand nothing, I just cropped after the first rejection. She was in addition undersharpened and now it's the opposite while I reassigned them just a little bit.
Do you agree between screener. Some "rotten" photos are accepted, there we make efforts by going on the forum to end up with a refusal. Look in my list of refusals you have the same two photos except one is cropped. What is the point of you screenerd having photos that come back to be canceled? Sorry for my vehemence.

              Hi,

the Air Europa is very strong leaning to the right. This looks very clumsy and unrealistic as those approaches are usual from planes like the AN12 or Transall.

The first ANA is too high in frame and the clipped tail looks bad. The second shot is good centered, but, you can see very strong jaggies which leads to the oversharpened rejection.
Mostly you don´t have to add tons of sharpening - less is sometimes more!

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

              • For the ANA at first rejection, why am I told that it is undersharpened. Especially since I hardly touch the sharpening

For Europa, for Dana is OK .

We do not know which way to dance !!!!!

                    4. soft and also blurry
                    5. soft, blurry, contrast

You have to accept, that photography is not an exact science and has his grey areas. What looks (borderline) acceptable to one viewer looks (borderline) rejectable to another. That's why we give advices here, but without acceptance guarantees. Shouting at us won't make it any better.

                          1. dirty, backlit, though not everyone will find the latter an issue for such a type of shot
                          2. dirty
                          3-4 similar
                          5. dirty, soft, horizon
