There is some kind of halo around the whole aircraft, though looks a bit like a compression issue as well. Most visible at top of the tail and along top of the fuselage.

      • Can a screener please let me know if the sun too high on this to make it backlit please? Click image for larger version

It would indeed be considered backlit.

It was taken at the same time as this image https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10228869, so I'm wondering if the coloring of the aircraft is more of a factor than an actual backlit.

              Screener comments?

Honestly I can't really tell if either they're both backlit and the white on the Allegiant makes it look like it's not or they're both not and the dark paint on the OWG is making it look like it is. As such, I probably would have given you the benefit of the doubt and accepted both, but that's just me

                    • Could a screener please comment on if this image would be backlit or any other pre-screening issues that can be seen.

I'd say contrast might be an issue, and still can't quite tell if it's backlit or not.

                        • Over or under contrast Dana?

Heat haze/softness a bit more apparent in this one. Not a huge difference in the contrast, imho.
