Hi, I’m not a screener, but I would count that as obstruction.

        • I'm trying to work out who operated this aircraft (N168LM) in June 2022 to upload. Any suggestions? I can't find anything on the usual registry or the FAA websites.

If not currently being operated, last displayed titles usually, but better to ask the editors as they will have final say.

I resubmitted at a much lower resolution and it was rejected again for the same reason. Another reason was added despite no change to the image.

As always, thanks for the suggestion.

Unfortunately always a possibility when you resubmit images.

                  • Would this be considered backlit?

Borderline, but would be ok for me.

                        • I noticed what looks like a 'halo' around the back of the engine, and It's there in the unprocessed RAW image as opposed to the result of processing the image. I wanted to get your thoughts before uploading it.

Borderline dark/contrast, otherwise ok for me. Not sure if halo or just engine exhaust, but also appears to be slight halo on top of fuselage as well though that could also just be clouds.

                              • Hi,

This image was recently rejected for contrast, and whilst I disagreed with the reason, it is usually not something that can be appealed. Since then, I have seen several similar accepted images with poor contrast and many others with flat or bad lighting.

I came across this nice shot, and I can't figure out the difference in contrast/lighting that warrants one to be rejected but the other accepted.
