Is the engine heat haze unacceptable (not processed yet)?

I'd personally try at lower resolutions, but other than minor quality flaws they would be ok for me.

Recently I’ve seen several images with ground equipment obstructing part of the aircraft e.g. steps behind cockpit obstructing wings and engines. I reviewed the upload guidance and the original guidance of obstructions are not allowed remains. Has anything changed recentky?

Can't comment without seeing examples, but from your description 'behind' seems to be the key word. Nothing has changed in the guidelines.
