Oddly, the response didn't come through by email as usual. Same as the image that entered screening but got lost in the system and there wasn't an email.
I was going to add an aircraft to the database but I can't find the serial number for the aircraft anywhere (based in Ethiopia). Can it still be added? If not, is there a way to find out what it is? -the aircraft is the Abyssinian Flight Services Diamond DA42NG ET-ASF.

This airline only places the registration in front of the horizontal stab. It is not possible to get access to a location where you can get the registration included so I uploaded this image, especially as many other first registrations don't seem to have visible registrations.
It's not my trainset so happy to leave it but the database will miss out on the aircraft as it looked as though it was on its way to the scrap yard. Alternatively, I can upload it as a normal image since it is the Hot Photo that caused the problem.

Why would it be hot? Registration not visible is not a reason for rejection unless there is suspicion of cheating.

- I had an image rejected recently for the registration not being visible. Re uploaded it as a std photo and it was later tagged by a screener as new registration (but acceptance ratio affected).
Only trying to help but I do agree there are some out there who would rather cheat than do things properly.
On a separate note, I have an image for a new reg but the serial number isn’t available (Ethiopia). I contacted the operator and manufacturer for it but no response. Can it still be uploaded as Hot or standard but with a comment to highlight this deficiency.

Rejected because it was not hot. It would not have been rejected for that reason if it had been submitted to the normal queue.
