    hi Julian

What struck me in the unequalised image was the dark areas of the upper port sharklet, port engine and main gear giving off a kinda glow. thats what alerted me to the halos in the unequalised image.

Just wondering on reflection if you see the same? Hope you don't mind sharing a view, Its useful for me as part of the learning curve.

I know its not part of screening - For clarity I have just done an equalised image.
    Regards T

    Hi, Riadh

Yes Halos' as you suspect (over procesed) - id go back to the original, check your workflow (shadows, highlights, clarity etc...) and the image for overall quality.

    regards T

It seems you have made it darker/increased the contrast, which is the opposite of what I recommended. In any case, please read this again:

This is a polite way of saying there is not much hope for this image, better to keep it for your personal collection.

In this case, no. Increasing the contrast is not likely to help much. There appears to have been a thin layer of cloud in front of the sun when the image was taken leading to the harsh lighting conditions. I'm not sure that this can be fixed with editing.

Pretty borderline for contrast, and maybe a bit high.
