I have got the beloved Bad Color (Over/Under Saturation, Hue) reject, that does not tell anything. I think still, that a comment about the real problem should belong this type of reject. It would help indeed.

Unfortunately I could not take my calibrated display to my holiday, and it is quite sure that my notebooks' display does not shows the right colors. So please explain a little bit more about this reject. I would not like to appeal without any reason.

    Regards,
    Federbear

I think the screener(s) probably didn't realize that since the aircraft was over water (right?), the cyan/blue cast is actually natural. Try adding a bit of red, but I actually don't think the color needs that much adjustment.

It is actually pretty tricky editing these photos. Not just the water but even the sand where they fly over causes different cast that it should be.

      Thx.

For future reference, additional explanation of the rejection reasons can be found in the upload guidelines: https://forums.jetphotos.com/showthr...ES-New-version

6.1 Bad Color (Over/Under Saturation, Hue)

Poor editing often results in colors which just dont look right but the most common problem is when pictures are taken from behind glass in airport terminals because this glass is tinted and creates a color cast on your pictures which does not reflect the colors you would see if you were the other side of the glass. Every editing program has a tool to alter colors and if you have been shooting from behind tinted glass these tools need to be used to make the pictures acceptable.

In addition, a photo with too much or lack of saturation will also be rejected with this rejection reason.

The first example given above looks a bit like your rejected photo: it has a red/purple colour cast

The screener left you a note regarding infos.

In addition, a spotting location photo needs to show a part of the airport.

                Thx for your info.

So it means that this picture can not be accepted because there is no runway or building in it, despite the spotting location is here. As plane also can not be accepted, because it is not centered. Is it right?

As spotting location it does not work. As aircraft photo I suggest you browse the db for photos of this airport to get an idea, what we accepted in the past. I am sure we have such kind of shots.

Thx again. I have tried it without success in both cases such others uploaded it.

                    Spotting locations without airport:

                    As plane:

Honestly, I do not understand. Here are some examples as you mentioned it. Of course I tried to find them before I uploaded my picture. These photos are fantastic without doubt, but it is disturbing why I got reject for both type of upload.

                    What do you think?

Yes, sometimes photos are accepted by mistake. But that does not mean we always have to accept now such photos as spotting locations. Uploading as aircraft photo, I merely suggested you browse the db for other shots. I'd say it has a 50:50 chance to be accepted.

Thx. As plane it was rejected twice with different crop. It looks like it is not good enough.

The 2 spotting location have the perimeter fence in sight, which is enough so no mistakes there

the next 4 are totally okay too, only the 1st one could be questionnable but it's nicely composed and was considered as acceptable as such

                          Kind Regards
                          Alex

                            Hi!

Could you give me information what bad colour means in this reject? The plain is over snowfield.

                            Thx in advance.

Was that snow green? If not, then it was probably rejected due to the cyan/green cast. See how the right side looks better here:
