heat haze/distortion is a big problem in this one, also you need to check the horizon/vertical levels

I'm going crazy for this shot.
Because of my fault it is obviously rejected (although I don't even have time to check for dust because it immediately goes into a hot queue). But apart from that, I can't explain to myself why a halo or vignetting effect is created, whether in RAw camera I correct the aberration of the lens, or if I don't correct it after opening the file in photoshop.
Also, what is the right category?

There are editing halos visible. Try avoiding the use of any effects like shadow/highlights or clarity. Category should be 'Night Shot'.
