    Hi,

I have three pics in question:

    Rejected with
    • Over Processed / Bad postprocessing
    • Too much or too little contrast
    Q33A3883-CR2_DxO_Gross Filter Auto K | Rainer Spoddig | Flickr

Looks good to me but pobably meant too much contrast?

Would this be a better edit althought I regard it at too bright and flat?

    Q33A3883-CR2_DxO_Gross Filter | Rainer Spoddig | Flickr

    Next one:
    rejected for
    • Too much or too little contrast
Looks also fine to me but I only can guess too much contrast again?

    Q33A3850-CR2_DxO_Gross Filter | Rainer Spoddig | Flickr

Btw. Why can the contrast category not be divided in seperated catogories "too much contrast" and "too low conrast". Especially this category is imo very subjective and dependable of he personal taste of a screener. This could avoid appeals and the photographer has not to wonder .

    Last pic:

I appeled because this rejection told me nothing at all and asked for an explanation. (I know the the crew usually refuses to comment appeald photos but this category can have every reason and so you have to ask what is wrong .!

In the appeal rejection is is written "very visible dark line around the plane". I cannot see that at all in the normal version. Only in the magnify version you see it slightly in a small part of the upper left fuselage but I always thought that this doens't count as long you cannot see it in the normal version.

    What do you think?

    Brgds

Not a screener but first photo is unfixable because of the poor lighting and weather

            Hi,

I feel a little like I'm kind of a "persona non grata" that I'm the only photogrspher not get an answer from the Crew in this forum for nine das although all other more recent questions got an answer in the meantime as far I can see. Is there any specific reason for that?

Howerever I wish all a good day.

I don't think anyone of the crew has something against you personally, surely not in my case. Probably the post just slipped through

I'm afraid the Tunisian and the Dreamliner will be difficult to get acceptable because of the dull/grey conditions, therefore lacking contrast in this case.
Regarding the splitting between Too much / too little contrast, have a look at this topic:

              https://forums.jetphotos.com/forum/aviation-photography-videography-forums/digital-photo-processing-forum/63162-contrast-rejections-too-much-or-too-little

As for the Heston there is indeed a black line especially around the top part of the fuselage, which is visible unequalized. This should be fixable.

                Hi Jesse,

thank you for your quick reply and your hints. After two reminders I wasn't sure what ti think but obviously I was too impatient. Sorry for that.

                  Hi,

I always struggle with editing of grey military a/c.

                  This Pic was rejected for
                  - Dark / Underexposed
                  - Too much or too little contrast
                  - Categories wrong or missing

                  Screener comment: cargo category missing

I tried a reedit with this version.
                  Would this be better acceptable?

                    Hi,

after getting no answer for six days again I ask myself if I am really welcomed to participate in this forum.
Many other photographer who posted later got their answers in the meantime.

I guess it needs repeating, but

Can anyone freely reply to your posts? Yes.

I have a limited amount of time, so don't reply to every post, especially if it has been shown the advice will be ignored or any other reason that it might not be a good use of my time.

In your case attitude and the fact that you are not adding directly to your post either a link to the rejection or any images in question means I've been skipping.

You can keep posting as much as you like, and anyone can answer. I'm not going to reply to any complaints/further speculation about your ability to post.

You should understand that the Jetphotos crew are humans too and cannot respond to 6,000 posts a second. They are taking time out of their day to help you and you should respect that.

                          Chemical pilot,

don't worry I do respect the voluntary engagement of the screener and crew very much. I add my pics to JP for many years already. But when you ask for help and twice your posts will only be answered after a reminder/complaint after app. a week although in the meantime all much younger posts were answered you ask yourself what could be wrong.
And still I got no help on my latest request.....

                          Good night

                          Rainer

thank you for your quick reply and your very clear statement.
I added two links of the photos. One of the rejected and one of the reedit. What is wrong with that procedure?

                            Best regards

For me, I no longer will click through to find an image. If you want feedback, post it directly in the thread.

I will also not comment on rejections without a link to the rejected image.

                              That's just me though.

                                Hi dlowwa,,

and I assumed links would be easier for you. Thxs for the hint anyways.

So I will search how to add photos directly because my first attempts failed.

                                Will be done later.

                                Good night
