Borderline oversharpened. Vignetting is not an issue.

editing halos are my biggest issue from when vignetting is not "tolerated" anymore.. Starting from my equipment (Canon 5d MII plus Canon 100-400 old) which seems to be very attracted from vignette and finishing to my low skills in finding a good editing against it! (hints welcome...)

In my experience, best to avoid vignetting in the first place rather than try to deal with it through editing. If you're seeing too much vignetting, the two easiest ways would be to stop down your aperture a bit (f/9-10 instead of f/5.6-8.0) and avoid the extreme ends of your zoom lens (shoot at 300mm instead of the actual max of 400mm).

Contrast just a bit too much (too much blown out sky) for my taste, but it is subjective. Backlit shots usually work better when there isn't such harsh contrast.
