Hello to everybody!

Got this shot rejected:

One of the reasons was bad framing.

How should I crop the image in this case: center the helicopter fuselage and cut the blades or center the fuselage and leave a lot of dead space?

Personally, I don't think images where the helicopter is quite off-center to accommodate the rotors are appealing, but we do accept them as such, so not sure why this one was rejected. If you do frame it higher (cropping the rotor or not), it does also look a bit blurry, so be aware that might be an issue as well.

Not sure why you're asking if it's worth uploading now, since it's already in the queue. We don't pre-screen images already in the queue, so you will have to wait for regular screening now.

Thank you for your answer. I'm new to this forum so I thought there was no difference whether I upload a photo to the queue and delete it if it still has contrast problem or attach a file to my post. No I get how the things work here.

And thanks for the answer about helicopter positioning I'll take your advice in consideration when I get a helicopter shot of a better quality.

There is no direct light falling on the aircraft, and the background is also brighter than the aircraft. I don't this one can be made acceptable for here.

Exposure looks acceptable to me, but it is a little too soft for 1920pix. Try 1200pix, and it should probably be ok.

IMHO backlit is not a problem in this one, but the photo itself has a poor light indeed.
