    Hello to everybody!

    Got this shot rejected:
    https://cdn.jetphotos.com/full/5/51188_1522530597.jpg

One of the reasons was bad framing.

How should I crop the image in this case: center the helicopter fuselage and cut the blades or center the fuselage and leave a lot of dead space?

    Thank you!

Personally, I don't think images where the helicopter is quite off-center to accommodate the rotors are appealing, but we do accept them as such, so not sure why this one was rejected. If you do frame it higher (cropping the rotor or not), it does also look a bit blurry, so be aware that might be an issue as well.

      Hello to everybody!

Got this shot ( https://cdn.jetphotos.com/full/5/72420_1522246974.jpg ) rejected due to "Too much or too little contrast"

Since I edited it a bit more is it worth uploading now?
      Edited one - https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=6495723 or https://cdn.jetphotos.com/full/6/93170_1523217968.jpg

Not sure why you're asking if it's worth uploading now, since it's already in the queue. We don't pre-screen images already in the queue, so you will have to wait for regular screening now.

Thank you for your answer. I'm new to this forum so I thought there was no difference whether I upload a photo to the queue and delete it if it still has contrast problem or attach a file to my post. No I get how the things work here.

And thanks for the answer about helicopter positioning I'll take your advice in consideration when I get a helicopter shot of a better quality.

Maybe I wasn't clear before: images already in the queue will NOT be prescreened.

Could you help what's wrong with the contrast of this shot

There is no direct light falling on the aircraft, and the background is also brighter than the aircraft. I don't this one can be made acceptable for here.

Why it's considered to be overexposed? As well as it doesn't seem soft to me.

                      Thanks!

Exposure looks acceptable to me, but it is a little too soft for 1920pix. Try 1200pix, and it should probably be ok.

                          Good evening!

I have a question if this shot is considered as the one with the backlit?

IMHO backlit is not a problem in this one, but the photo itself has a poor light indeed.

                            Regards,

                            Vinicius

But also I would like to hear someone's from JP crew opinion about backlit.
