Can someone take a look at these three? Also, number 1, N338FR, does not appear to be in the database and the plane looks to have been constructed in 8/2018. Would that make it a hot photo if it is acceptable when submitting?

    Thanks!

    1. soft, dark, vignetting, centering
    2. soft, vignetting, borderline dark
    3. soft/blurry, dark, vignetting

New regs. should automatically be selected as hot by the system, so no need to do anything extra.

Thanks dlowwa, took another stab at editing number 2 better. Tried to fix the vignetting and a little sharper along with some brightness.

      Thoughts?

Better, but be careful not to overcorrect the vignetting, as that could be an overprocessed rejection if the corners/edges end up being much brighter than the center.

Thanks, do you think this one would be acceptable now or is it still lacking?

            Borderline for sharpness and vignetting/overprocessing.

Poked around with some ways to fix the vignetting better and took another pass at it. I am liking this edit a lot. Thoughts?

Thanks as always for your continued help!

Also used some of the same strategies to try to fix the concerns with the first photo (the new reg).

One thing I am not sure of is how to fix the centering? I have tried reading around the forums so maybe I do not understand what to center based on correctly. Should I be centering based on the top wing tip and the bottom wheel? Or centering the fuselage in the frame? I tried making this one more centered with the same space from the top of the wing tip to the edge and from the bottom wheel to the edge.

                Hi all,

Wondering if my latest edit (previous post) is better than the one that was borderline sharpness and vignetting, also noticed the N338FR one now has a photo in the database but still curious if this one is acceptable.

                Thanks in advance!

First one looks ok; second would be rejected for centering (too low), and dirty.

                        2. soft

Haven't had any new opportunities for taking new photos so decided to take another pass at #2 from the last couple which was soft.

Let me know what you think!

                            Thanks!
