Shadows not an issue on any of them.

#Shadows not an issue on any of them
Great. This will simplify a lot my processing workflow.

Now, let's look at the overprocessed issue.
This has been a recurrent issue and I need some (extra) help to try to correct it.
Specifically TAP planes are prone to this... lots of primary colors, (small) black letters on white background... details, details..

As such, can you please review this set ?

They have no processing/adjust at all, not in camera, not previous to resizing , not after, none at all.

They are as they come from the camera.

    So, are they acceptable ?

If not what do you suggest ?
    1) a tade of sharpening in all the plane ?
    2) a tade of sharpening in specific locals : everywhere... but not in letters ?
    3) a tade of sharpening just in letters ?

thanks again for your time and help

and if you don't mind can you please also comment on the shadows ?

Basically I'm trying to understand what's an acceptable shadow and/or if there's the need to process it.

The 1 and 2 , doesn't have shadow processing, while 3,4,5 does have it.

thanks again for your time and help

1-3 angle seems a little steep, and contrast a bit flat
    4. ok
    5. centering, borderline contrast

    #2. overprocessed, blurry (tail)
in the original photo... the tail is perfect, 100% in focus... however due to the flatness of color and detail... when resizing it... it get worst and no detailled is passed.
    Tried several ways..but no luck..

can you please review these ? thx

Exporting it to 1920px... I really can't see the softness to the rigth.

However having a closer look, maybe 3,4,5 have an issue with the a clear color in the tail and the plane orientation/position..

1 has an "optical interference" in the tail , that make the words armee de l'air a bit fuzzy...(the remaining of the tail looks in focus) which is a pitty .
Having a Franch Military plane in the Lisbon Aiport doesn't happen every day

.. in summary if they don't look good or appealing , let's move on... there's lots of other planes to choose from.

Can you please have a look at these, catch of the day ? thx

Got it. It was my first series in bad weather, I did not knew what to expect. Clearly, shooting white planes against a white backdrop is a challenge.
Living in a country with 300 sunny days per year, the sunniest in Europe....there's no need to push the envelope.
Thanks again. back to you soon with ... hopefully sunny photos.

Of course dlowwa, no need to apology at all. It was my mistake. In fact I posted in two different days.. but in less than 24 hours.
It was the heat of the moment ... sorry.
