      Hi All,
I have experienced that some of my pictures lately have been rejected due to noise because there are clouds on the picture.
All the pictures below is shot with ISO200 which I have always used for the far majority of my pictures so I am honestly surprised that they are catagorised as noisy.
I do know that noise isnīt the only issue on two of the pictures.

Is there any good explanation why the clouds make them noisy ?

Without knowing your camera settings and judging by the look of the noise I would guess it has to do with underexposed originals.

I get where you're coming from. ISO 200 should always be a good bet noise wise. When it isn't I get a little upset.
It's not clouds that cause noise. But when you bring up the shadows in post, a lot of noise previously hidden in the shadows is now exposed and distracting, and dark clouds are repeat offenders. If you use Photoshop CC there's a nice noise reduction tool under Filter>Sharpen>Smart sharpen. It's effective. Just don't use too much.

Thank you all for the feedback.
LX-A343 I am always running on auto, donīt have the skills to run in any other mode.

Michael, thank you for your advise. With the recent batch I have used smart sharpening in stead of just sharpen.
            Best regards

                  Hi Dana,

Does any of these stand a chance of being accepted ?
Only one of the Qatar Cargo will be uploaded, just not sure yet which to choose.

4 centering (too high), borderline contrast

It is a bit of a long short, but would this picture have a chance of being accepted ?

                            Hi Peter,

The glare is a little bit disturbing on this one. It shows some JPEG compression artifacts too
