  • Help with rejected photo

    Hello everyone,
This is my first post on the forum, so forgive me if I break any rules. I recently uploaded two photos on to JP, put them in the queue, and they were rejected. The problem was that I did not get a real reason, only that the quality "didn't meet standards. I don't really know how to still show them, but here is a link to Flightaware, which I also uploaded them to: https://flightaware.com/photos/view/...rt/date/page/1

Obviously the photos were re-sized, but other than that they are identical. Can someone tell me what is wrong with them? And if they are fine, is it still possible to appeal?
    Thanks,
    Isaac

While I am not a screener, hopefully, this might help a little: https://forums.jetphotos.com/showthr...ES-New-version

The guidelines for uploading will help you a lot in showing some of the issues that you have. They are very soft, both cut off parts of the aircraft to make them unbalanced, they seem blurry as well and I think a combination of all of those goes to the quality issues that are referred to in the rejections. Have a read through the guidelines and I'm sure they will help you more.

I'm not a screener either. But with the spirit shot, i would say underexposed, the crop is off, and you cut off the wing.
For the delta shot, underexposed and the wing is cut off.
other than that i cant really find any. What did the actual screeners reject them for?

Main points for rejection are that both are soft, blurry and lack contrast.
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !

Hi, I was the one who unfortunately had to reject your images due to the multiple quality flaws present. We have found it necessary to periodically delete queues where the quality is far below what would be necessary for acceptance, to save you from waiting 10+ days to find out the inevitable, and to try and keep the queue down as much as possible. It is good though that you chose to come to the forum to seek advice, so you can hopefully avoid such a result in the future. Here are the two images, exactly as they were uploaded:

The first is soft, blurry, dark, and cut off/bad centering (poor crop). The second is dark, soft, very yellow, and compressed. These two specific images are not likely fixable for here, so probably best to not waste any more time on them, but for any future uploads, feel free to post them in this thread for prescreening before uploading to get some pointers to hopefully improve your chances at acceptance.
