Okay have been asked to move my thread about some photos that I got rejected to here
Okay so I recently have had a few rejected images which I am confused about and a bit frustrated
JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!
This one I dont see it being soft? I processed it the same way I do all my others - but mainly 'similar photo uploaded'? similar to what? I do have one of this reg already in the database however it is a totally different angle

Same thing again apparently it is another similar uploaded? - again I do have this aircraft in the database however at different angles - never heard of this rejection before...

Part of aircraft cut off - well duh that's the whole point of the photo to be a close up of the prop etc - I guess these sorts of images are not wanted? just trying to be different to all the other standard photos we see....
Not trying to get at the screeners or anything just a bit confused

Literally taken 20 seconds apart. You might want to save yourself some future headaches and read here: https://forums.jetphotos.com/showthr...ES-New-version
"2.6 Similar
Means that you have a similar photo already in the database. Please upload only your best photos, try to be creative. Similar refers to:
- a photo taken from the same sequence the same day e. landing, taxiing, ramp parking or take off
or
- same registration, similar angle or composition or same background taken on different dates.
- Close up views and full or partial views of an a/c taken at the same angle, are generally considered similar."

If a close up of the prop, why have you actually cut the blades? Not very aesthetically pleasing, imho, and whoever screened it obviously agreed.
Okay firstly the first one I wouldn't call it similar but then again I dont make the rules so okay then
The second yes it was taken 20 seconds apart, so how come I got these two accepted then? both the same aircraft, rego sequence and photographer and location!? - this also applies to https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=7431258

Lol okay well that's all very interesting so what about similar images from different photographers but exactly the same photo?
For example:
https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9316636 & this one https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9320167

As I hinted at, you might save yourself some time if you actually take a moment and read through the guidelines, as you might find the answer(s) you're looking for there.
