Old Digital Photos

Hi,

I came across an old stash of digital photos taken on a compact camera rather than a DSLR that I was looking to work on. I read the guidelines and forums but could only find info on old scans rather than older jpegs. Obviously the standard still has to be good enough but any pointers would be great.

It depends of their quality and rarity. From what year are those images ?

I would also be interested in the answer.

I have some photos of helicopters shot during firefighting ops with a compact camera in years 2001-2003. Quality is questionable, also because they were made with the very low res available at that time for compact cameras, but rarity is not, because there are some registrations not in the database.
To be honest, I asked for an opinion for a couple of them in the old preview topic and got a "drop" suggestion (or I submitted them and have them rejected, I don't remember), but if the same rules used for "scans" would apply, maybe they could be included in the database...

They range from 2000 to 2012. They're not rare so I don't mind either way. I just don't want to waste anyone's time.
