  • Max P - editing advice

Hi, my username on JetPhotos is airplane223, different than on the forum. I am a new user and was wondering on what I could do to work on my photos. I attached four photos, the first one was rejected, the others I have not uploaded. Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

Hi, I would asses these as follows:

    1. horizon (ccw), centering (too low)
    2. centering, borderline contrast/soft
    3. dark, soft
    4. contrast

First three might be fixable, last one not.

Ok thanks for taking a look. I will upload the second and third after some editing. For the first photo, I was told it was dark/underexposed. Is their any good way to fix this in post processing?

Exposure looks acceptable to me, but I suppose you could brighten it a touch and still be ok.

Here are the first three photos again, all after some editing. Do these seem acceptable?

            1. cropping/ratio (16:9 is the minimum), borderline soft
            2. soft, contrast (too low)
            3. soft, borderline contrast

Also, it is unclear if I am allowed to re-upload a photo that was already rejected. Is that true? Even if the photo had been improved?

                1. soft
                2-3. soft, dark, contrast

As long as you've made the necessary improvements, rejected images are allowed to be re-submitted.
