Before I go and submit an edited version of this, would you help me figure out how much and where the direction of rotation needs to be, if at all, to fix the horizon on this photo? Thank you!

I agree with you, a bit underexposed, but the horizon looks acceptable.

Color is better, but contrast is still quite poor. Not sure you can fix it with editing given the overcast light.

Horizon is ok, but almost certainly a color/contrast rejection as it is. Color probably fixable, contrast possibly. Would need to see the final edit before saying whether it was acceptable.

All three borderline dark, and the first also a touch soft.

    Thank you Alex!

That was strange for me. I don't know what I touched to make it compressed in Lightroom. Is this a better one to try out. Again, I am still worried about how soft it is and it it is recoverable. Thank you all for your help!

It doesn't look too soft to me but pixels are clearly visible in sky which is most probably caused by some compression due to tools used during editing

I also was going through some of my KEGE shots from earlier this year. Unfortunately, it was overcast from that day. Reading other people's posts for a while now, it doesn't seem as if you accept these types of photos unless there is direct sunlight on the aircraft, giving it more contrast. I am wondering if this aircraft has the potential to be accepted with the amount of sunlight on it. Thank you again for taking the time to help me with my photos!

    1. soft/blurry
    2. ok
    3. soft
    4. ok

    Soft/blurry towards the edges on 1 & 3, easily noticeable at 1600pix.
