    'Ello all!

First of all, I'd like to introduce myself, as this is my first post in the forums. My name is Antti Salo (if you didn't notice that already), and I'm from Finland (FYI. that's in northern Europe). I started photographing "properly" about a year ago with my dad's old (1960's-70's) Nikkormat SLR camera, and started learning the basics of proper photography. A few months ago, I'd gathered the money to buy a proper digital camera (Olympus C-750 UZ), as film was starting to get a bit expensive etc., and now whaddaya know, I'm almost addicted. Here you can view my photos on JP.net so far.

But... The meaning of my post was this photo:

I took it yesterday at Helsinki-Vantaa. It's V Bird's sole A320 departing for DUS and MUC. I was just wondering is there any reason in uploading this photo? I think the glare from the taxi light is a bit overdone, but on the other hand I like this photo because of it. So... Do please tell me what you think of it, and I'll see if I upload it or not. And be honest! I'm not one of those people who get offended from negative comments.

IMHO the light has "eaten" the nose a bit too much.

A little light can add up a lot to a picture. But that's more like a little bit of aircraft around the light

To make it clear: I would reject it....

Yes... Antti, I think it's a bit too much aswell...
BTW, That is an awfully bright headlight that A320 has!
Could it be wrongly calibrated, e.g. pointing upwards? (like car headlights in a fully loaded car)

Have fun spotting with your new camera!

        Cheers,
        Kyuss

Thanks all, you're right. I like the glare, but it's not good as an aircraft photo..

I wonder about the size of this glare. Compare it to this one:
