This is how it looks in Lightroom, similar to the tool the screeners use when they check for dust.
You cannot really see them with the naked eye, only if you know they are there.

If they are not easily identified as birds, then they should be removed. If they are a large flock, or it's easy to see it's a bird, then it can stay in.
The title says it all. Removing all those birds flocks here, or in other pictures, seems like manipulation to me, as they aren't really dust but may look like it.
What is the general procedure for pics like this? Stamp away the sole birds and leave the groups? I don't want to risk a dust rejection.
