Hi I am not a screener but I may provide you with some help.
First of all the size of the photos are not correct. For me, I prefer using 1280*800 resolution.
Secondly, the second image seems to has some major quality issues, such as noisy, contrast, dark and compression. Unfortunately, it may not fixable.
However, every aviation photographer I know around me has a difficult time when they trying to upload their photos to the website. For me, I have been rejected about 30 times before finally has the 1st photo accept. So try to find some guide in the forum and probably upgrade the equipment.

      Regard
      Walker

Image is backlit, and suffering from heat haze, softness/blurriness, and compression.

This image is below the minimum required size, so not much point in commenting on it any further.

Based on how badly compressed this is, I'm going to guess you've just upsized the previous version you posted. Unsurprisingly, the quality is quite poor to say the least, and 'fixing' it will not be possible.

                      No, soft and compression.

Would be rejected for soft and noise/compression.

Would the camera raw filter and removing the jpg artifact fix it?

Which filter are you talking about? Removing jpeg artifacts would always be a good thing.

On photoshop, the "camera raw filter". It is supposed to take an image and put it in raw form
