Due to the hazy conditions, not much you can do other than try adding more contrast.

I mean I'm worried about contrast issue.

i'd say if its a cloudy day, don't even bother going outside to spot.

Just go out and enjoy.. but don't expect much luck if you're planning to upload any such images

My two cents...cloudy days are a great opportunity to practice. Practice panning shots, go scout a couple spots you've been wondering about, maybe tinker with some camera settings or try a new lens. I try to look at those days as a chance to expand my possibilities without worrying that I've wasted a good shooting day.

In case of contrast I wanted to both of these were taken when the sun was almost down the horizon.(Maybe considered as NIGHT SHOT).
Found those sharp enough as well.

Contrast is way too dull on both of those. I strongly recommend you :

- Start to be more selective with your uploads
- Avoid appealing so much
