Would you say this photo is too close to backlit to be acceptable? I went back to the aircraft a few times and this was the best light I could get

It is perfect, if you can see shadows reflected over the tail it means that the sun hit more by this side.

I hope the livery change is visible beyond the cover, but beyond that, the contrast is quite poor regardless.
