  • Looking for feedback on these two photos.

    1) Obviously will contrast be an issue for this photo? If you see anything else please let me know, but I believe exposure, white balance/color, and processing are all adequate and acceptable

    2) Main issue I am worried about is horizon. I believe that using the building verticals is what's key since I cannot rely the electrical poles

If you see anything else that might cause a rejection, I would appreciate it if you brought it to my attention. Thank you very much in advance.

      1. yes, contrast is an issue.

For photo #1 would it be safe to say that it would not be worth another photo or do you think that there is the off 'borderline' chance that this photo could become acceptable? In your professional opinion

With the right edit, I see it as possibly having a chance.

Tried not to overdo it, but added some contrast to the photo in terms of adding highlights and decreasing shadows. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Contrast is still an issue. The problem is that the part of the a/c we look at is not well lit and (part of it) blends into the background.

              • Taking advice and guidance from the both of you (thank you for that by the way) I have come up with this edit. I realize that the underside of the aircraft was not well lit and the upper fuselage blended into the overcast background. I went back and did a re-edit so that I was not working with what I had before and this is what I came up with earlier. I will take this as my last chance/last advice for this photo. Please let me know what you think.

As before, borderline (at best) for contrast.

                  • Looking for feedback on this photo. I worry that there might be some softness in the photo while applying my usual sharpness settings. Please do let me know if there are any other issues with the photo. Thank you.

Also if you are able to provide feedback on the operator, this aircraft is operated by CHRISTIANSEN AVIATION, but there are Tulsa Community College markings, not sure which one to go with for operator

                    Thank you in advance

Yes, probably too soft. Should be uploaded with the operator as the airline.

                      • Looking for feedback: I know there are some borderline and questionable things that might be with these photos. Need a second opinion please and thank you

                        1) any issues with any grain that would make it unusable, contrast issues (it looks borderline to me), any soft or blurry areas?

                          1. contrast, blurry. not fixable
                          2. blurry, horizon

Is #2 fixable? Which areas are soft/blurry and I'm guessing it needs CW rotation?

If you have a non-blurry version, yes, fixable. Buildings are leaning right, needs CCW rotation.

                              • Dana or Alex, I recently submitted a photo yesterday that was going through screening as a new registration, N77DJ, a Cirrus vision SF50.

It shows it was rejected but it's not showing up in my rejected photos list, I do not have a photo ID for this photo, because it just completely disappeared. It's not showing up in my photos and it's not showing up and rejected photos. I'm trying to figure out what my next steps are in this predicament.

Hopefully somebody can help me find my photo. Thanks
