    Looking for feedback on this photo. Had some trouble with the histogram "bell" shape and was wondering if there are any contrast issues with this photo? Along with contrast, I am worried about the exposure since the histogram did not look like a normal/typical histogram that I usually see. Feedback would be greatly appreciated thank you.     Correct. 95% of what we see in this image is in shadow. It would be a rejection for me, and I would guess most other screeners as well.

    I will surely be able to rectify the contrast/dark issue, potentially, but with the possible backlit rejection, the sun was at my back and is shining clearly on the angle of the planes visible to me/camera angle (in my opinion) especially if you were to look at the tails of the aircraft in formation. For the backlit rejection would that mainly be an issue with 'plane in own shadow' backlit versus actual backlit? Just looking for clarification if it will even be worth a second attempt on this photo. It was very spur of the moment as they flew over and would appreciate your insight into the backlit issue. Thank you

    Yes, very likely a contrast/dark, or even backlit rejection.
