    I did think I am dumb for using 2.8 because MCP is not in focus but the displays... Maybe this is enough to kill this shot.
    If possible, can you give me some guidelines for a cockpit shot?
    DOF is not great, lots of soft/blurry spots.

      Yeah best to take a shot with tripod next time...


      I got some night shots that needs your advice and am trying a few approaches.
      1 - I think there is just not enough light, shooting up the hightlight is not going to help... I think by JP standards this is straight to personal collection, but I have seen some shots like this under this light, so would like to see if this is acceptable.
      2 - I tried to not overclip highlights, but it does seem to be dark
      3 - I tried to get exposure as much as possible, but siginificant amount of light is overclipped (red and these white lights should be, but the tail light clipping is also concerning...)

      And... 4/5 (has to zip it because original pic exceeds 2MB) - Just for checking sharpness.

        1-2. blurry
        3. a couple of areas where highlights might be blown, but otherwise ok for me
        4. borderline oversharpened
