Crop is ok, but it is quite soft, and slight editing halos are visible.

Thanks dlowwa, i'll dump that one & try this one, same thing, sharpness, i was shooting from a distance away (airport constraints) & i think that's why the images are soft.

Still somewhat soft, and a tiny bit of heat haze visible.

Same as previous: soft, borderline heat haze. Jet wash from the engine exhaust is not really the issue, the heat haze is just regular haze from the distance/air thermals.

              Thanks, moving on then,

I just had the following 2 images rejected for contrast, I have since hopefully adjusted contrast in the right direction, can you please pre-screen them & also give me some advice in regards to contrast because I just don't seem to get it & I have looked through the forum but nothing I have found really helps me.

Contrast is too weak. Also a bit soft for me.

                  Cheers mate

I went shooting the other day, a beautiful cool & sunny day except for the smoke in the area from near by hazard reduction burns. Still i wanted to see if these pics are acceptable with the haze & the contrast.

A bit soft, but otherwise they would be ok for me.

Color looks fine to me. Slightly soft towards the tail.

                          Thank you

I have started to use the Tone Curve on LR, hopefully the following image of the RAAF P8 is now ok in regards to contrast? I have also reduced the noise/grain since the last rejection

                            Borderline (weak) contrast. Also soft.

                            • Hi team, can I please enquirer as to what the bad info is on this image? I requested a new aircraft which was accepted, this was the info found under aircraft type. Also was contrast to weak?

                              Thanks in advanced
