Both appear a bit blurry, and second also has editing halos.

Too late to save these in that case, but for future attempts, since any blur wouldn't really be visible from the side, might want to change your settings to at least get a sharp image when the aircraft reaches that angle

Thanks, the heat haze i don't quite get, it was quite a cold day, are you meaning from the engines?

Also heat hazed. 'Heat haze' refers to the temperature differential between different air layers that causes light waves to refract. Although more common in hot conditions (because of strong sun), it can occur at any temperature as long as there is a difference in temperature between air layers.

It is soft, but can't tell if that's due to heat haze or other issues.
