  • Rejection Help

Hi, I went spotting yesterday and caught an Air Europa 787-9 doing a customer acceptance flight in Charleston (KCHS). I uploaded it as a hot photo as it wasn't on the database yet, and got rejected for horizon, contrast and something else I can't remember. I fixed those and re-uploaded and it got rejected for contrast, which I appealed. The admins response was it was rejected because of poor light.
    Here is that rejection:

I then went full contrast in lightroom and added saturation and re-uploaded, waited and got the rejection for contrast again:

I don't understand because I have had multiple shots in similar light accepted of the same aircraft at the exact same spot.
    Etihad A6-BND: https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9474331
    KLM PH-BKC: https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9474895

These shots that were accepted all look like they have way less contrast and to me the Air Europa looks way oversaturated already.
Any comments and help would be appreciated.

I'm not really quite sure on this one. However, if anything there is a bit too much contrast/over-saturated. I think it would be worth appealing this photo. The light is poor so it is iffy.

Although the lighting is the same, the fact that the Air Europa aircraft has an all white fuselage, it adds to the difficulty with the lighting as there is little contrast between the fuselage and the sky.

All of them were taken in poor light, but the accepted two managed to get accepted because there was enough contrast in their respective liveries, but they were (are) very borderline. As such, the Air Europa is not fixable.

In the future, please read here, and know that we generally don't give advice to images that have already been appealed, and in the future such requests might just be ignored:
