despite my belief in a conspiracy against my photo uploads (both jp.net and a.net), what type of rejection reasoning is "bad motive?"

I don't know JetPhotos exact definition of bad motive but this is from airliners.net:

"The photos were of low esthetic qualities - bad angle, including window reflections (for shots taken through glass such as terminal windows), pictured just a part of an aircraft (with no motivation like a special sticker, damage etc., for doing so), out of focus, distracting or obstructing objects in the foreground or similar (this is especially true for gate shots which are very difficult to get accepted due to their common nature and the large amount of ancilliary equipment which usually surrounds the aircraft) or did not picture an aircraft or anything sufficiently related to aviation at all. Finally, you might read this because your camera displays the date in the lower right corner of the image. If so, please disable that feature in the future."

That picture falls under the uninteresting close up.

oh well, i guess i'll try something else and set myself up for another rejection.

i think a "bad motive" is that a.net (keyword: airliners) allows uploading of everything that flies. i rememeber when a.net didn't even have 10,000 pics, now they have 10 million lose the general aviation, helicopters, and military pics!

I remember when a.net had just a couple of thousand pics and they used to get barely twenty uploads a day. I thought to myself "why don't I just keep up with them, whatever new pics there are I'll just download them all and I'll have a great collection of pics."

HaHa! that brilliant plan didn't last long.

But seriously, I think by badmotiv they are politely saying "why the hell did you bother to waste film on a shot that looks like that"

P.S. by way of that comment, I was not referring to your photo, I actually like it and have saved it on my HD. I cant really see why they would reject it, unless it is because the tug is visible in the shot or the ramp marshaller, I think some screeners are very picky about there not being anything non airplane in the picture even though I dont think it detracts any from the overall image. But then again my opinion isn't worth anything at all.
