In your recent version take a look at the front wheel. There is also a spot of dirt in the upper left corner that is distracting to the eye. The only issue with the first TAM shot is the amount of space left infront of the aircraft. For nose shots try to leave less empty space infront.

Looks like this one is destined for your personal collection. It's pretty soft and shows a bit of grain. But in any event, it is very clearly soft.

Yeah, looks more on the bottom left of the photo. Plus it really doesn't look too appealing as a close up, i.e. not exactly a "close up", like it's zoomed too far out.

They're both not centered in the frame. Try cropping it so the aircraft isin the middle of the shot, and not off to one side.

But even the second shot? (the TAM close up)

when I pressed the button I stopped moving it.

Next time continue to pan after pressing the shutter. The shutter speed in that light I'm guessing was probably 1/30th - 1/60th. When you stopped moving you camera that split second caused the blur. Hope this helps.
