The N Reg gives it away. It will be going to Norwegian eventually but it had not yet been delivered when the picture was taken at what looks like Boeing’s Seattle base. That together with the N Reg makes the owner as still being Boeing.

What does NTU mean ? I’m guessing “Not Taken Up”. I just wish people would use plain English.

The US registration database shows N57004 as being a temporary Boeing company registration. Once this aircraft is sold on the N Reg will be used on another aircraft.

If I recall correctly, the rejection was over serial number, as you had the one on the db for a previous plane with that reg (44480), this one is 42838 (originally going to be SE-RTE).
