  • Research study on chair flying

    Hi all,
We are currently doing a research study on chair flying at Staffordshire University.
If you are a pilot or student pilot aged 18 years or over, we would love to know about your experiences of chair flying, otherwise known as mental practice, mental imagery, or visualization.
Whilst there is lots of talk about chair flying at flight schools and in hangars around the world there is little research that has systematically looked at how pilots use this technique. This research aims to do just that.
The survey will take about 15 minutes of your time and when we’re finished with our research, we would love to share our findings with you if you’d like.
If you would like to take this rare opportunity, click on the link or copy it into your browser: https://staffordshire.qualtrics.com/.../SV_6gsx9LKzF4svIqi
Feel free to forward this to other pilots who may be interested in taking part.
    From the research team,
Elizabeth Lee, BA/BSc, and Stephanie Romano-Smith, PhD
