How far are you from the Airport???

I was just wondering how far everyone is from thier local and major airports??? Miles? Time?.... I live 6 minutes by car or 2.7 miles from KALB but we dont have any "good" traffic.....( As my shots on jp.net can show ) I live about 3 hours from boston and NYC... I have to admit im fairly intimidated by the fact that I dont know to get to or where the good spotting places are in the major airports.... I guess I just gotta study a map, shoot that dog and jump in the jeep and venture down there.... any ideas or past expirence for BOS or the airports in NYC?...

About 20 miles from BDL, and 100 miles from BOS. Both are easy to get to. BOS only takes about 1.5 hours, BDL is about 20-30 minutes.

1.17 Miles away from the nearest airport (I got the landing lights blarin in my window )... Airline Traffic wise, it would be PVD... about 26miles - 25minutes away doing 80.

I live 17 miles out from Manchester's 24R threshold. I'm right under the flightpath and the aircraft usually pass over every 5 minutes or so when on 24 ops. Takes about 20 minutes to get there in the car, but 15 if you put your foot down ....

Well I am 15 minutes away from MAN on my pushbike. That makes me 1.6 miles away from the MCT vor. From my back door I can get shots like this when the active landing runway is 06
