    772LR To Roll Out Feb15!

    Finally, after all my years of waiting!!

    The ultimate twinjet is scheduled to make its tentative debut Feb15. Debating the possibility of gettin' my black behind out there to see it.

    Prolly won't, considering I'll hopefully see it en Euro this summer.
    But still, what a milestone-- LONGEST RANGED COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT ever!

      Anyone know if Boeing will use the 7E7/Dreamliner color scheme on this plane? Can't wait to see pics of it either way

        The "dreamliner" scheme is the new house colors, so I can ALMOST guarantee they will use it.

          Awesome news, ConcordeBoy!!! I can't wait to see her in person. I am really looking forward to fly on the B777 again. I already flown from ATL-MCO on DL with B777 aircraft.

                        Does anybody know if and when Boeing will release the plane's special website?

                        New Airplane 777 still has the good old 777-300ER info. Would like to know if they plan to attempt LHR-SYD during the flight tests.

                          Wow it'll be awesome, but I couldn't see myself sitting on a plane more than the 13 hrs from LAX-CHC, I'd rather have a stopover. What airlines are buying it?

                              Is the LR the 777 with the cost cutting measues implemented? I just remember reading that they were trying to get the price down on the 777 and looking where to cut things back and some cost cutting here and there was the plan. So I was wondering if the LR was that plane.

                              Love the 777 though, can't wait to see it!

                              On a side note, how come the 777 never got winglets? I mean obviously it doesn't need them but it would look nifty!
