Most of all, I miss CP air -- specifcally the orange/red/polished aluminum paint scheme circa 1970 - 86. A close second would be the Canadian Airlines "Proud Wings" scheme.
Of airlines I actually flew, Wardair would be the one. I have memories of many pleasant flights with them from 1976 - 1982.
Other sentimental faves are Pan Am (classic) and TWA. I can recall being at LHR on several occasions in the 70's and early 80's and seeing over a dozen 747s at a time from these two. It was very sad to be there more recently, and see neither. I used to think that YYZ must be some kind of backwater airport because neither Pan Am or TW flew there.
Beyond this, there were lots of regional and charter airlines in Canada that used to make plane watching more colourful than it is today. RIP Transair, Quebecair, Pacific Western, Eastern Provincial, Nordair, Nationair, Canada 3000, Odyssey International, Northwest Territorial, Greyhound Air, Worldways Canada -- the list goes on and on...
