Great to see DL adding more city pairs, and getting closer to serving 200 destinations year-round from ATL. Nonetheless I have my doubts about FLL-NAS, seeing as that route is heavily competed.

Why would they Start FLL-NAS when like 10 airlines fly that already!!! Great to see SLC-RDU, what aircraft will they use?

I'm actually kind of surprised that they didn't start SLC-CLT given USAirways doesn't even fly to SLC.

RDU is a sensible choice given the ending of UA's double daily CR7 to DEN. For a second I thought they started it with a double daily 738, which would be a little overkill. I think these flights will do well given the connecting opportunities that will be presented by these flights.....

Point 1: DL has a much bigger presence at RDU than at CLT, although we might see it sometime down the road.

Point 2: It is enough for the time being, but given the catchment area of RDU it might become 2x daily in the not too distant future.

Well good for those cities. I imagine that RDU-SLC flight is pretty long.

I learned of some bad news about DL and LIT today though. DL is taking away 2 LIT flights in March. One is an ATL flight, which isn't surprising, the jump in capacity from when DFW was closed was too much. But they are taking away the MCO flight, which is surprising. From what I've heard, the loads were great on the flight.

No worries, those flights will stay. Let me guess, in the timetable it says "Disc.Mar. 28", right?

              Yep, that's what it says.

As expected. Just wait for the April timetable, and you'll see those flights will still be there.

                    Cow-gary needs more Transborder Services!

My beloved hometown is in shortage of transborder services . . . 17 years after the 88 Olympics, the glory seems to have been blurred by Mad Cows (that's a very sensitive topic in US-Canadian trade relations, so I hear). I would imagine the cattle are mad when their delicacies are turned into Prairie Oysters! hahahah!

In saying so then, we need more service to Calgary.
What we already have (to my limited knowledge)

                    Calgary-Chicago
                    Calgary-Dallas
                    Calgary-Denver
                    Calgary-Houston
                    Calgary-Las Vegas
                    Calgary-Los Angeles
                    Calgary-Minneapolis
                    Calgary-Phoenix
                    Calgary-San Francisco
Calgary-Seattle (WestJet could enter this market, along with WN given that Calgary is not THAT large of a city)
Calgary-Salt Lake City (this could be upgraded either to CR7 or a mainline 732 for trial, given that it used to see 727s and 757s in the 80's and 90's)

Calgary-Detroit (NW) regular, NOT seasonal with 319 service
Calgary-Portland, OR. with AC JAZZ and Horizon Air (for competition), or even WestJet too!
Would like to see WestJet enter the Denver market so that United Express is not the only airline servicing Calgary (competition)
                    Calgary-Atlanta with DL mainline 738s
                    Calgary-Newark nonstop with CO 73G's
Calgary-San Diego nonstop with WestJet (c'mon WJ!)

Edmonton could use more transborder too. but what, i'm not sure.

And what does that rant about lack of service to YYC have to do with the topic?!?

The services to Boise, Jackson Hole and Raleigh-Durham must have surfaced as very profitable in market studies, to the extent of accepting additional costs related to night-stop for the aircarft and overnight accomodation for crew-members.

Yep!!! It is great to welcome back with FLL-NAS for this year and it is moment waiting for more than with 10 years with using B757 or B727 to NAS.

As for some of good new routes and I am totally shocker about nonstop from ATL-BOI. It is such very long flight to BOI. They must to able done very well.

Also, I heard about SLC-TPA/FLL has done very well and will get larger aircraft to SLC anytime soon.

Also, I've got chance tell you about me and that is exactly I flown nonstop from SLC-TPA from last month and this is very excellently flight to TPA.

Edmonton could use new service to :
SLC on Delta (cancelled in 9
SFO on UAL (on and off service)
LAX on UAL (served now by Hp only)

                            Increased service to:
                            PHX on HP
                            LAX on HP
                            DEN with UA
                            NWA upgrade to 320

Probably more possible, but that is a moderate list of needs.
