  • Can a one-armed person learn to fly?

I once read in a magazine (Think it was AOPA) that a person who only has one arm can still fly. My question is, HOW?? If you only had one arm, you can't enter a turn and reduce the throttle at the same time or anything like that.

IF a deaf person can do it, I imagine a 1 armed person can as well.
THE VOICE OF REASON HAS SPOKEN!
Pop quiz: Which US president said, "Saddam Hussein has spent the better part of this decade, and much of his nation's wealth, not on providing for the Iraqi people, but on developing nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them."
George W. Bush is not correct. It was Bill Clinton in his 1998 State of the Union speech. HMMMMMMMMM.

but a deaf person cannot fly a commercial flight. i know, I am deaf. it IS a bit different...a deaf person can PHYSICALLY fly a plane, but once it becoems time to hear on the radio, forget it. one armed person id be surrpised itd be hard thing to do, but im never saying never.
