I have never seen any 721 listed for PWA in any of the aircraft census listings online...
As far as I know... PWA operated the 707-100, 737-200, 737-300 (leased briefly), and the 767-200 for a short while (these two were sold to AC).
Cheers.

Are you talking about this aircraft?
C-GAPW... was torn down and the cockpit was salvaged and turned into a flight simulator. It was an ex-CP 737-275/Adv, originally delivered to PWA in 1974.

None of the 727 census listings show any 727s ever being registered to PWA. CP Air flew 6 727s, 4-100s and 2-200s during the 70s and early 80s, but all were removed from the fleet well before the CP merger in 1987.
Would be interesting to see what exactly is in that article you have mentioned, but as far as I know, PWA never flew the 727 at all.

Ahhh... okay then that makes sense if we're talking TWA...
CP Air and Pacific Western never shared liveries, and the 721/722 of CP departed the fleet long before these two married and adopted Wardair..

Interesting... that info never showed up in any of the searches I had done... but I guess that's the one...
C-FPXD - 727-171C now flying with First Air would be the aircraft.

Pwa 727-100
PWA used the a/c on scheduled flights up north from YEG.
I remember riding on from YEG to YZF sometime in 1977-1978, I believe it was a combi becauce we boarded the a/c from the back.
Latter on the a/c ended up with WESTBOURN of Calgary prior to going to the ECHO Bay mining company.
